How It Works

Tariff Product Creation:

If it's a regulated Department of Transportation (DOT) tariff that you need, Tariff Maker Publishing has a well-defined, tested, and proven process through which your company can create a custom tariff designed specifically for use with your interstate moving business. We gather your valuable input throughout the tariff creation process to ensure that your tariff is customized to accurately represent your business. Through the same process, our Moving Tariff Consultants have created some of the finest interstate moving tariffs for companies throughout the industry, and these tariffs have become instrumental in getting our clients more business whilst distinguishing them from the mainstream.

We will begin the DOT tariff creation process with a discussion of your needs and requirements to better understand your goals and objectives. We will assign a Moving Tariff Consultant to provide one-on-one service for you, answer all your questions, and guide you through each step of the process. You will be asked to complete our Custom Tariff Configurator (CTC) document, which is structured to address a wide array of service and pricing options for your customers and business. This process generally takes anywhere from 24 - 72 hours, depending on how quickly you complete and return the CTC to us. We will use your responses in the CTC to create your custom DOT tariff. You will receive a copy of your tariff burned onto a CD along with instructions for its use. You will also receive a certificate of authenticity for your DOT tariff certifying its one-of-a-kind uniqueness. A Moving Tariff Consultant will assist you in getting setup with your new moving tariff for your business by taking you through a 1-hour training session.

Business Consultation Services:

One of our Consultants will listen to and make a log of your needs and goals. Based on our analysis of your specific situation, we will then either provide you with immediate advice if possible and a number of options and solutions, and if necessary, follow this up with a written analysis. We will accompany this service by emailing you helpful resources to further assist you.
